Proudly representing my country, Zimbabwe at Miss Emerald international pageant that is running virtual due to the outbreak of the Covid-19. My name is Pangoline Chipo Chigwende, aged 21.
I’m currently studying Bachelors of Commerce Insurance and Risk Management Honors Degree at the Midlands State university. The aim for Miss Emerald international pageant is to support and promote the indigenous communities and better their lives. The finals are going to be live on the Miss Emerald YouTube channel at 2am Zimbabwean time. Let’s all subscribe and show some love and support.
Miss Emerald Zimbabwe 2020
We are 11 candidates all in all.. If l win, l will start by supporting all the indigenous communities that were represented by all the candidates. Due to the outbreak of the pandemic l will have to hear from the candidates as they are the mouthpieces of their indigenous communities about the areas that needs help then after the lock down l can physically visit the communities together with the Miss Emerald organizers. I would also love to educate the indigenous people on how to improve themselves on their own like abolishing early marriages in order to control sexual transmitted diseases and broken marriages.
