UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Manchester City Advanced To Quarterfinals

Manchester City beat Real Madrid to book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Manchester City stars Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus netted in a 2-1 win (4-2 agg.) against Real Madrid to book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals. City boasted a 2-1 lead heading into the second leg of their round of 16 clash at the Etihad.

Many feel it’s City’s best chance to win the Champions League – and Pep Guardiola’s men got off to a flying start.

Sterling netted with just 9 minutes gone after Jesus stole the ball of Real defender Raphael Varane.

The La Liga champions equalised through Benzema who headed in Rodrygo’s cross 19 minutes later to make it game on once again at the Etihad Stadium.

City put the game out of sight for Real in the 68th minute.
