A nine-year-old Bindura girl (name withheld) is 27 weeks pregnant.
The pregnancy came to light after suspicious school authorities at Kambira Primary School took the grade 3 girl to Bindura District Hospital on Wednesday after getting consent from her mother.
Tests revealed the child is in a breech position.
The matter is under police investigation and two juveniles were picked up on Wednesday night and are assisting police with investigations.
The minor was allegedly sexually abused by two 17-year-old boys who have been arrested.
The authorities said a statement will be released in due course.
