Embattled MDC-Alliance vice-chairperson, Job Sikhala who is facing charges of inciting public violence is set for another fresh freedom bid on changed circumstances.
This came out when Sikhala appeared in court for routine remand this Thursday.
The MDC Alliance senior official is being charged with inciting public violence in connection with the flopped 31 July demonstrations.
Sikhala, who is being represented by Mr Jeremiah Bamu and Harrison Nkomo, asked the court to furnish him with a trial date, arguing that investigations should have been completed by the 8th of this month.
The accused also notified the state that he will apply for refusal of further remand.
Sikhala will be back in court on the 1st of October.
