MDC Alliance Hurungwe Central District Chair amd Ward 4 Councillor, Lovender Chiwaya has been found dead a few houses from his home.
The body of MDC Alliance Hurungwe Ward 4 Councillor Lavender Chiwaya was earlier today found near his home in Hurungwe.
Chiwaya’s party the MDC Alliance has said Chiwaya, whose body was found naked 4 houses away from his home was being hunted by state agents and they have accused state agents of killing him.
Gladys Hlatywayo, MDC Alliance’s international relations secretary has said the late councillor was:
Being hunted by state security agents before his gruesome murder.
ZRP National spokesperson said he was still gathering details about the unfortunate incident. The state has been hunting for opposition elements who are opposing the government which has forced some of them like Geodfery Tsenengamu and Job Sikhala into hiding.
