Robert Tembo, Chairperson of Harare’s Division 2 League has urged football revelers not to despair but brace themselves for upcoming enticing fixtures.
Football has been put on hold since COVID-19 first hit the shores of the southern African country earlier on this year.
However, even though much of the country’s football is still on hold, Tembo has since said they are now awaiting the clearance of the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) for them to resume matches.
“Teams are copying with the current COVID-19 regulations as training is done indoors awaiting clearance from the SRC. Soon after the green light is given there is a lot to come,” assured Tembo.

Zimbabwe is amongst the many countries across the globe which have since instigated stringent measures on sporting activities.
However, some countries especially in Europe have managed to juggle between the pandemic and the commencement of sporting activities whilst adhering to COVID-19 protocols.
