The City Of Harare has suspended 14 officials who are implicated in 152 land deals. The development was posted by Harare on Facebook in a post that reads:
The Audit Committee has recommended to the Human Resources Committee for the suspension with immediate effect of the 14 officials implicated in land deals involving 152 residential stands.The resolution to suspend the team was reached today during a special meeting of the Audit Committee. Town Clerk Eng Hosia Chisango with respective directors will effect the suspensions.Council is working to recover the 152 stands.The investigation is still continuing.
